CORE 7 OVERVIEW

DAY 1 (Friday):

Fundamentals of Intra-Oral Scanning – Considerations in Technologies,
Applications and underlying Techniques for implementation of data
acquisition.
This Module will focus on the rationale for utilizing intra-oral scanning
in everyday implant dentistry. Topics for discussion will include types of
scanners to utilize for different therapies, workflows involved in utilizing
acquired data and clinical techniques relevant to best utilize the technology.
This will include a hands-on component for participants to become
familiarized with scanning software and intra-oral protocols to get the best
outcomes.

DAY 2 (Saturday):

Diagnosis and Treatment Planning Through Software – Considerations in
Diagnosis Treatment Planning and Implementation of Definitive Therapy.
This Module will focus on the rationale for utilizing software in diagnosis
and treatment planning of implant therapy. Topics for discussion will
include diagnosis and treatment planning of the single tooth to full arch
scenario. This will include an introduction to software that enables efficient
decision making in all aspects of pre-operative planning from design of
the proposed smile, fabrication of the provisional prosthetics, and critical
surgical decisions.

DAY 3 (Sunday):

Fundamentals of Printing – Considerations in Technologies, Applications and
Underlying Techniques for creation of Surgical Guides for Implant Placement.
This Module will focus on the rationale for utilizing in office printing for
everyday implant dentistry. Topics for discussion will include the ideal printer
to be used in office to create surgical guides, workflows involved in utilizing
planning software to printing software, and clinical techniques relevant to
best utilize the technology. This will include a hands-on component for
participants to become familiarized with printing protocols to get the best
outcomes.
